The Bar

We take a great deal of care over our real ales (indeed, all our draught beers) here at the Hawkins Arms and try to ensure that every pint served is as good as the brewer intended. We mostly serve carefully selected Westcountry beers but occassionally get some from further afield. We generally serve beer with a small creamy head but if you prefer a larger head or perhaps like it topped right up then please feel free to ask. We are very proud of the fact that we are again one of only sixty or so pubs to be included in the Cornish section of the CAMRA real ale guide.

Throughout the year we try to offer a range of favourites real ales from and the southwest and beyond. Our regular session beer is the popular Bay's Best. We also offer upto 2 guest ales. So far this year our beers have included:

Take Away Specials

If you find a beer you like at the Hawkins Arms you may like to buy a four pint carry keg to take away your real ale in.

We offer 4 pints for the price of 3 on all of our cask and kegs beers, ciders and guinness.
