Our themed food nights are a popular event here at the Hawkins Arms and usually take place once a month (usually on the 3rd Thursday). The night consists of a 3 course meal, all of which is homecooked using fresh local or specialist ingredients, and served in a friendly social atmosphere. We aim to serve the first course at 8pm. To ensure that the meal is excellent value for money we ask for choices to be preordered. Previous themes have included, Greek, Italian, Cornish, Thai, Chinese, Indian, American, Spanish and Hungarian Food. More traditional food themes such as, Wild food night, Country Fayre Night and Forgotten Food Night. Some themes have also been based on a food type such as, potato night and fruited food night. We have also held a Wine and Cheese evening.
